We’re not self-storage. We’re shelf-storage. A standardized, color-coded, bin-based system that turns chaos into clarity — with German-level precision and a sense of humor. In or Out is located in New Rodiver City.

What We Do

We transform standard 10x10 self-storage units into smart, modular shelf storage environments. Each unit comes fully equipped with a custom shelving system designed for standardized ICH bins — our signature latching storage bins that keep your life organized, accessible, and easy to find.

How It Works

1. Each unit contains 7 shelves, color-coded for easy reference.
2. Each shelf has 5 levels, with a variable number of bins per level.
3. Every bin has an IP address (Internal Placement) that follows the format: A-B-C — Shelf, Level, and Item Position.
4. Every bin, shelf, and unit is labeled with QR codes and UUIDs, so you (or someone helping you) can locate anything instantly.

What Belongs in Shelf Storage?

If it fits in an ICH bin, it belongs here.

If it doesn’t? Verboten. Get a self-storage unit.

This is not a dumping ground for abandoned furniture or questionable life choices. Shelf storage is for the things you know you’ll use again — just not every day.

ICH stands for Integrated Central Hub. Every bin lives within this structured, open-source framework. With dual databases — the Wo Haus (Where House) and the Wer Haus (Who House) — we know where everything is and who it belongs to.
